Lumen is a homework service delivered through Discord. For privacy questions, open a ticket in the Discord server or ask in the support channel.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with Stripe for payment processing and our hosting provider for infrastructure, under appropriate data processing arrangements.
Account data is kept while your Discord account remains registered with Lumen, or until you request deletion via a support ticket.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by opening a Discord ticket. UK GDPR rights apply where relevant. You may also contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.
LUMEN TERMS OF SERVICE
We are not responsible for any academic disciplinary actions, grades, sanctions, or consequences resulting from how you use this bot or its outputs in an educational or institutional setting.
You agree that you use Lumen entirely at your own risk. You accept full personal responsibility for how you utilize any generated responses, and our liability is strictly limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently ban any user or server from accessing Lumen without prior notice if they attempt to exploit, abuse, spam, reverse-engineer, disrupt bot performance, or violate usage guidelines.
Outputs generated by Lumen may occasionally contain errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies. We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not guarantee the completeness or absolute correctness of any answers provided.
All users must strictly comply with Discord's Terms of Service (https://discord.com/terms) and Community Guidelines. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements (13+, or older depending on your local jurisdiction). Any accounts found to be in violation or underage will face immediate termination of service.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Lumen may experience occasional downtime, latency, or unscheduled maintenance without prior notice.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and continued use of the bot signifies your acceptance of any revised terms.

If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first paid charge, open a Discord support ticket with your Discord ID and payment proof and we will issue a full refund via Stripe.
Refunds are not issued for partial billing periods after the 7-day window. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period already paid.
Lifetime purchases may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Open a support ticket with your order details and we will process it promptly through Stripe.
No charges are made during the 7-day free trial. You may stop using the service before the trial ends without any cost.
Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days and returned to your original payment method via Stripe.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.
